By the year 1981, they had acquired a venue in San Francisco de Macoris; they acquired another venue in La Vega the next year. The hard work and vision of the Rivera brothers transformed the company in 1986, to what it has become today.

In 2009, the company underwent a project to change the organization, where they reviewed all the structure and their processes with the goal to further improve their organization, to create a modern company, with higher quality standards, focused on the growth and development of their human resources.

In the beginning, Importadora La Plaza was oriented towards the sale of motorcycle spare parts, adding the import and distribution of parts and accessories for cars and bicycles at a later date, all while assuming as their main goal to achieve excellence in service, satisfying their clients and associates.
